Implementation Effect of Safety and Quality Management in Hospital Pharmacy Management
Objective To explore the value of implementing safety and quality management in the management of hos-pital pharmacy department.Methods Fifty staff members of the pharmacy department of the Second Affiliated Hospi-tal of Xinjiang Medical University and the Pharmacy Department of Hami Central Hospital were selected as the study subjects from June 2021 to May 2023,in which the routine management mode was implemented from June 2021 to May 2022 as the reference group,and the safety and quality management was implemented from June 2022 to May 2023 as the study group.While 100 patients'prescriptions in each of the two management modes were selected to compare the total error rate of prescription,work efficiency,and work quality of the two groups,respectively.Results The total error rate of prescription was 1%in the study group lower than that of 7%in the reference group,and the dif-ference was statistically significant(χ2=4.687,P<0.05);all scores of work efficiency in the study group were higher than those of the reference group,and the differencee were statistically significant(all P<0.05);and all scores of the quality of work of the patients in the study group were higher than those of the reference group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion It has significant application value to the safety and quality management in hospital pharmacy department.
