Role of PBL Teaching in Laboratory Teaching and Its Influence on Exami-nation Results
Objective To evaluate the effect of the PBL teaching method during the teaching period in the laboratory, and to evaluate the influence on the evaluation results of interns. Methods Fifty testing students who were interned in the Second People's Hospital Affiliated to Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from October 2019 to Oc-tober 2023 were selected and divided into a control group(n=25,conventional teaching method)and an observation group(n=25,Problem-based Learning teaching method)by simple randomization, and the results of the two groups were compared. The teaching effect of the two groups was compared, and the evaluation indexes included assessment results, teaching quality, and comprehensive ability. Results The assessment scores of the observation group were all higher than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);comparing the indica-tors of theoretical deepening, instrumental teaching, practical teaching, and testing skills instruction, the observation group were higher than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05);compared with the control group, the observation group had a stronger comprehensive ability and higher scores for each indicator, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The"problem-based learning"teaching method has a significant effect during the teaching period, which is beneficial to improve the evaluation results of interns and the overall teaching quality.
