Application Effect of Case Teaching Method Combined with Scenario Simulation Teaching among Orthopedic Interns
Objective To explore the application effect of case teaching method combined with scenario simulation teaching among orthopedic interns.Methods Eight students who interned at Yongzhou Central Hospital from January to December 2023 were selected as the research subjects.They were divided into the control group(n=4,using con-ventional teaching method)and the observation group(n=4,using case teaching method combined with scenario simu-lation teaching)by random number table method.The academic performance and satisfaction of the two groups of stu-dents were compared.Results The observation group had higher scores in basic knowledge,case analysis(medical his-tory collection,disease analysis,diagnosis and differential diagnosis,treatment plan formulation),theoretical total score,and medical history collection,physical examination,film reading scores and practical skills total score than the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The satisfaction scores of the observation group in various aspects(stimulating interest,improving self-learning ability,enhancing expression ability,developing clinical thinking,improving collaboration ability,enhancing analysis and summary ability)were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion In orthopedic internship,the combined use of case teaching method and scenario simulation teaching can enhance the combination of theory and practice,and improve comprehensive clinical capabilities of students.
