The Role of Digital Medical Record Information Technology in Improving Hospital Medical Record Management Efficiency and Management Quality
Objective To observe the role of digital medical record information technology in improving hospital medi-cal record management efficiency and management quality.Methods 21 staff members in the Medical Record Depart-ment of Zhangqiu District Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital were selected as the research objects.From January 2018 to December 2019,traditional file management methods were adopted,and from January 2020 to December 2021,digital information technology management was adopted.The management efficiency and management quality of the staff in the medical record department under different management modes were compared.Results The quality level of medical records after digital information technology management was better than that of traditional medical re-cords management,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The average single medical record query time,overall query time and medical record collation time after digital information technology management were shorter than those of traditional file management,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The mastery degree of medical record management related knowledge level of medical record department staff after digital information technology management was better than that of traditional file management,and the difference was statisti-cally significant(P<0.05).After the management of digital information technology,the total satisfaction of the staff in the medical record department was 100.00%,which was better than that of the traditional file management 76.19%,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Digital medical record information technology can improve the quality of medical records and the efficiency of medical record management,and also has a positive impact on staff's mastery of relevant knowledge about medical record management.
