Implementation of the Nursing Staff Position Management System in the Intravenous Medication Dispensing Center
Objective To explore the nursing staff position management system suitable for pharmacy intravenous ad-mixture services(PIVAS).Methods 12 nursing staff working in PIVAS of Kunshan First People's Hospital from July 2021 to June 2022 were selected as the study objects.The routine nursing management method was used from July to December 2021.From January to June 2022,the position management of nursing staff was used based on the charac-teristics of PIVAS,all of which were the same batch of nursing staff.The assessment scores,management satisfaction,and professional quality performance of nursing staff were compared between different management mothods.Results The theoretical test scores[(95.54±3.67)points]and practical operation scores[(96.78±2.84)points]of nursing staff in PIVAS position management were higher than those in conventional management,the differences were statistically sig-nificant(both P<0.05).The scores of PIVAS core system and nursing work process of nursing staff,intravenous drug mixing and preparation operating procedures,clean area clearance,cleaning and disinfection operating procedures,cy-totoxic drug compounding and spillage operating procedures,clean environment control and waste disposal operating procedures,document writing and storage,PIVAS emergency incident handling operating procedures under the man-agement of PIVAS positions were better than those of routine management,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The total satisfaction of nursing staff with PIVAS positions management was higher than that with routine nursing management,but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion The management of PIVAS positions can improve the competence of nursing staff,give full play to the role of nursing deployment posi-tions,ensure patient medication safety,and further improve the professional level of nursing staff.
