Value Analysis of the Application of Total Quality Management in Disin-fection Management of Rabies Exposure Treatment Clinics
Objective To analyze the value of total quality management in disinfection management of rabies exposure outpatient clinics.Methods 10 medical staff working in the rabies exposure clinic of Shenxian Center for Disease Con-trol and Prevention from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the research objects.They were divided into groups according to the time of the outpatient disinfection management program.Routine management was imple-mented from January to December 2022,which was set as the routine group.Total quality management was imple-mented from January to December 2023,which was set as the research group.The quality scores of outpatient disinfec-tion management work,the professionalism scores of medical staff,and the incidence of adverse events in outpatient disinfection work between the two groups were compared.Results The quality scores of outpatient disinfection man-agement and the work professionalism scores of medical staff in the research group were higher than those in the rou-tine grouphe differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in incidence of adverse events in outpatient disinfection work between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The applica-tion of the total quality management model in the disinfection management of rabies exposure treatment outpatient clinics has high value.It can effectively improve the quality of outpatient disinfection management and the profession-alism of medical staff,reduce the incidence of adverse events at work.
