Study on the Impact of Potential Risk-based management Model on the Professional Skills of Pediatric Surgery Outpatients
Objective To explore the application effect of management model based on potential risks in pediatric surgical outpatient clinics and its impact on doctors'professional skills.Methods 29 doctors from the pediatric sur-gery department of Weifang People's Hospital from September 2021 to August 2022 were selected as the control group.From September 2022 to August 2023,the same group of 29 pediatric surgical outpatient doctors were included in the observation group.The control group was managed using conventional methods,while the observation group was managed using a potential risk-based management model.Compared the professional skills,mini clinical evaluation(mini-CEX)and satisfaction of the two groups.Results The observation group scored higher than the control group in drug inventory,health examination,medical records,doctor-patient communication,treatment plan decision,and dis-infection and isolation,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The mini-CEX score of the observa-tion group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The observa-tion group's satisfaction with management methods,skill improvement,performance appraisal,regular training and as-sessment methods were higher than those of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The management model based on potential risks has significant effects when used in pediatric sur-gical outpatient clinics.It can improve doctors'professional skills and comprehensive quality,achieve higher manage-ment satisfaction.
