Application Effect of 9S Lean Management in the Management of Toxic and Anesthetic Drugs in Medical Institutions
Objective To explore the application effect of 9S lean management in the management of toxic and anes-thetic drugs in medical institutions.Methods 6 staff members in the Pharmacy Department of Hengzhou People's Hos-pital from January 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the study objects and no change in personnel during the study period.From January to June 2022(control group)conventional poison and narcotic drug management was adopted,from January to June 2023(observation group)9S lean management was adopted.The two groups of medical staff's sat-isfaction with the management work,the occurrence of drug errors and the related indicators of drug management were compared.Results The satisfaction rate of the observation group was 100.00%,which was higher than that of the con-trol group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The occurrence of drug errors in the observation group were less than those in the control group,and the time of drug configuration,drug collection and distribution were shorter than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The application of 9S lean management in the management of toxic and anesthetic drugs in medical institutions has significant effects.It can improve the satisfaction of medical staff to the management work,reduce the incidence of mistakes,and shorten the duration of drug allocation,drug taking and distribution.
