The Teaching Effect of Formative Evaluation in the Standardized Training Teaching Practice of Breast and Nail Surgery Residents
Objective To analyze the effect of formative evaluation in the teaching practice of standardized training for breast and nail surgery residents(referred to as"residential training").Methods 12 breast and nail surgery residents of Yongzhou Central Hospital from January 2023 to December 2023 were selected as the observation objects.Accord-ing to the teaching practice evaluation method,they were divided into a control group(conventional teaching)and an observation group(teaching based on formative evaluation),with 6 cases in each group.The teaching effects were com-pared between the two groups.Results The scores in each dimension of the mini-clinical evaluation exercise,direct observation of procedural skills and teaching feedback of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The scores of each terms and total score of exit ex-amination of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion In the teaching practice of residential training in breast and nail surgery,the teaching mode based on formative evaluation can obtain good teaching results,cultivate the clinical thinking and prac-tical ability of residents,make them better adapt to clinical work.
