Application effect of 3D printing technology in clinical case teaching of Or-thopaedics and Traumatology
Objective To explore the effectiveness of 3D printing in clinical case teaching of Orthopaedics and Trau-matology.Methods A total of 80 orthopedic interns in the fifth year of undergraduate studies at the Air Force Military Medical University from January to December 2023 as the research subjects, the students were numbered and as-signed computer values. The computer values were sorted in ascending order, with the first 40 interns as the control group(receiving routine clinical orthopaedic teaching method)and the last 40 interns as the observation group(receiv-ing 3D printing technology teaching). The assessment scores and teaching satisfaction of two groups of orthopedic in-terns were compared. Results The practical and theoretical assessment scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences ware statistically significant(both P<0.05).The satisfaction scores of fracture condition, operation scheme design, teaching study interest, operation understanding degree, theoretical knowledge level, and clinical work interest in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion 3D printing technology can improve the clinical teaching effectiveness of trauma orthopedics and enhance the satisfaction of interns with teaching.
