Analysis of Epidemiological Characteristics of Brucellosis in Zouping City from 2019 to 2022 and Discussion of Countermeasures
Objective To study the incidence of brucellosis in Zouping City and provide basic information for the pre-vention and control of brucellosis.Methods An epidemiological survey was conducted on newly reported lucellosis pa-tients in Zouping City from 2019 to 2022,their epidemic characteristics were analyzed,and prevention and control strategies were discussed.Results From 2019 to 2022,the average population of Zouping City was 773 500,and there were 150 confirmed cases of brucellosis.There were no fatal cases;the incidence rate increased from 1.80/100 000 to 6.64/100 000,involving 16 towns and 8 villages to 16 towns and 67 villages,with a total of 116 villages involved,ac-counting for 11.78％.The incidence season of brucellosis in Zouping City was mainly concentrated in April to July when the average daytime temperature was 23.25℃.In Zouping City,brucellosis mainly affected cattle and sheep,with 123 cases of direct contact.All cases discovered in Zouping City from 2019 to 2022 were sporadic cases,mainly concentrated in Weiqiao Town,Xidong Street,Marina Town,Huangshan Street,Daixi Street and other areas of Zoup-ing City.Among them,Weiqiao Town had the largest distribution,with 27 cases(18.00％),23 cases were infected through direct contact with sheep,and 4 cases were infected through drinking goat milk.There have been no cluster outbreaks from 2019 to 2022.Conclusion The incidence of brucellosis is high in Zouping City,and the main onset time is June.Effective control after determining the epidemiological characteristics can reduce the incidence of brucel-losis and ensure the prognosis.
