Analysis of Epidemiological Characteristics of Hepatitis E in Longkou City from 2014 to 2022
Objective Analyzing the epidemiological characteristics of hepatitis E in Longkou City from 2014 to 2022,the epidemic trend and characteristics of hepatitis E were understood,and the basis for formulating effective preven-tion and control measures was provided.Methods The case data of 252 patients with hepatitis E in Longkou City from 2014 to 2022 were selected,and the gender,region and month distribution of the cases were statistically analyzed by descriptive epidemiological method.Results A total of 252 cases of hepatitis E were reported in Longkou City from 2014 to 2022,with an average annual incidence of 4.41/100 000.There was no significant difference in the incidence rate between men and women(P>0.05).The monthly distribution was from July to September(34.92%),from April to June(31.75%),from October to December(17.06%),and from January to March(16.27%).It can be seen that most of the months were from April to September,belonging to the end of spring and summer,with high temperature and rainy characteristics.In terms of regional distribution,152 cases(60.32%)in rural areas were significantly higher than 100 cases(39.68%)in urban areas.Conclusion The epidemic trend of hepatitis E in Longkou City is obvious,and it has specific distribution characteristics,including season and region.In order to effectively prevent and control the trans-mission of hepatitis E,it is necessary to strengthen the monitoring and prevention of high-incidence areas and sea-sons.
