Application Effect of PBL Combined with CBL Teaching Method in Stan-dardized Training Teaching of Emergency Residents
Objective To explore the application effect of problem-based learning(PBL)teaching method and case-based learning(CBL)teaching method in standardized training teaching of emergency residents. Methods From June 2021 to July 2023,sixty-two standardized trainees in the emergency department of the Affiliated Hospital of Weifang Medical University were selected as the research objects.According to different teaching methods, they were divided into the control group and the observation group, with thirty-one cases in each group. The control group received tradi-tional teaching method, and the observation group received PBL and CBL combined method. The teaching effect of the two groups was compared. Results The basic theory, case discrimination, clinical skills and first aid performance of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The scores of physical examination skills, humanistic quality/professionalism,medical interview skills, clinical judgment,organization/efficiency,communication skills and clinical comprehensive ability of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The scores of theoretical knowledge mastery, learning interest, analytical problem-solving ability, autonomous learning ability, communication ability, clinical thinking ability and teamwork spirit of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion In the standardized training of emergency residents,PBL combined with CBL teaching method can improve students'performance, cultivate compre-hensive quality, and promote the improvement of clinical thinking and coping ability.
