Application of CBL Combined with PBL Teaching Method in Ophthalmol-ogy Residents Standardized Training
Objective To analyze the clinical value of case-based learning method combined with problem-based learning model for ophthalmology residents standardized training. Methods Sixty ophthalmology residents undergoing training at the Ophthalmology Center of Affiliated Hospital of Weifang Medical College from January to December 2022 were selected as study objects and divided into the observation group and the control group according to the ran-dom number table method.Thirty physicians in the control group implemented the standard training program, and 30 physicians in the observation group implemented the case-based learning method combined with the problem-based learning model training program to evaluate the training results of the physicians in the two groups. Results After the training, the scores of all dimensions of Mini-clinical Exercise Assessment in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The theory scores, surgical op-eration,radiological diagnosis, cardiac diagnosis, and diagnostic thinking scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The scores of the obser-vation group's training physicians on the teaching content, teaching process, communication, teaching techniques, and learning efficiency of the teaching mode were higher than those of the control group, and the difference was statisti-cally significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Case-based learning method combined with problem-based learning mode training can improve the effect of ophthalmology resident training, improve the physician training performance and work ability, and the evaluation of the program by the physicians in training is high.
