The Effect of Problem-oriented Interactive Teaching Method on Job Com-petence and Learning Motivation of Orthopedic Surgery Interns
Objective To explore the effect of problem-oriented interactive teaching method on the job competence and learning motivation of orthopedic surgery interns.Methods Twenty-eight intern doctors who interned in the De-partment of Orthopedics of Yongzhou Central Hospital from January to December 2023 were selected as study sub-jects.The 14 interns who interned in our hospital from January to July 2023 adopted the conventional teaching mode as the control group,and the 14 interns who interned in our hospital from August to December 2023 adopted the problem-oriented interactive teaching method as the observation group.Comprehensive scores,job competence and learning motivation of intern doctors in the two groups were compared.Results The theory scores,practical operation and case analysis scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The scores of job competence and Self-ring Scale of Self-directed Learning scale in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Problem-oriented interactive teaching method can improve the job competence and learning motivation of orthopedic surgery interns.
