Application of PBL combined with CBL Teaching Method in Clinical Pro-bation of Nephrology Undergraduates
Objective To explore the application value of problem-based teaching method(PBL)combined with case-based teaching method(CBL)in clinical probation of nephrology undergraduates.Methods Eighty-nine interns who performed clinical practice in the Department of Nephrology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Baotou Medical College of Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology from September 2021 to September 2023 were selected as the study objects.They were grouped according to different teaching methods.Forty-four interns in the control group re-ceived the conventional teaching method,and forty-five interns in the study group received PBL combined with CBL teaching method.The teaching effect of the two groups was evaluated after the practice.Results The total assessment scores of interns in the study group were higher than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically sig-nificant(P<0.05).The scores of interns'autonomous learning ability in the study group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).There was no statistically significant differ-ence in Critical Thinking Disposition Inventory-Chinese Version(CTDI-CV)between the two groups(all P>0.05).The total score of CDTI-CV in the study group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statis-tically significant(P<0.05).The recognition degree of interns in the study group was higher than that in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The application of PBL and CBL teaching method in the clinical internship of nephrology undergraduates is helpful to improve the interns'ability of in-dependent learning and critical thinking,and improve the teaching effect.
