Detection and Analysis of Microorganisms in Drinking Water in Yancheng of Jiangsu Province
Objective To analyze the microbial detection results of drinking water in Yancheng of Jiangsu province. Methods A total of 953 drinking water samples from Yancheng Yandu District Center for Disease Control and Preven-tion from January 2021 to December 2023 were selected as the study objects. In strict accordance with the relevant re-quirements,the microbial testing of all drinking water samples were completed, and unqualified testing were counted. Results In 953 samples of drinking water, the unqualified rate of microbial detection was 9.50%.There was no signifi-cant difference in the unqualified rate among different years(all P>0.05).Compared with dry season, the unqualified rate of water quality in wet season was higher(7.33%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=9.590,P<0.05).Compared with factory water and peripheral water, the unqualified rate of secondary water supply detection was higher, and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).Conclusion The microbial detection unquali-fied rate of drinking water in Yandu of Yancheng City is relatively low,the water quality and secondary water supply water quality are slightly poor, water quality management should be strengthened, strict disinfection treatment should be implemented to ensure the quality of drinking water.
