Application and Analysis of BOPPPS Teaching Model in Pharmacology Teaching
Objective To explore the application effect of BOPPPS teaching model in pharmacology teaching.Meth-ods Twenty-four trainee pharmacists from the Department of Pharmacy of Yongzhou Central Hospital were selected as the study subjects from January 2023 to January 2024,and were divided into conventional and BOPPPS groups based on different teaching modes,with 12 in each group,and the two groups adopted the conventional teaching mode and BOPPPS teaching mode respectively.Compared the two groups of intern pharmacists'assessment scores,teaching ef-fect,teaching satisfaction.Results The theoretical assessment scores and laboratory operation scores of the BOPPPS group 90.13±4.86 and 91.48±3.95 were higher than 82.47±5.61 and 85.19±4.28 of the conventional group,and the differences were statistically significant(t=3.575,3.741,both P<0.05).The scores of increasing learning interest,en-hancing learning efficiency,cultivating medical thinking,strengthening the application of knowledge,and increasing knowledge reserves in the BOPPPS group were higher than those in the conventional group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Teaching satisfaction in the BOPPPS group(100.00%)was higher than that in the conventional group(58.33%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of BOPPPS teaching mode in pharmacology teaching can not only enable pharmacists-in-training to have a deeper un-derstanding of pharmacology knowledge,improve the learning effect,enhance their learning interest and motivation,but also improve the quality and level of pharmacology teaching.
