A Study on the Training and Effectiveness of Community Mental Health Managers
Objective To study the methods and effects of training talents for community mental health management services.Methods 148 community medical personnel engaged in mental health management and related work in the training course for community mental health managers at the Guangzhou Panyu District Health Technician Continuing Education Center from October 2021 to May 2023 were selected as the study subjects to analyze the effect of training.Results After the training,the scores of medical staff in the knowledge and skills examination were significantly higher than those before the training,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the training,the scores of medical staff's emotional management ability was higher than before the training,and the difference was sta-tistically significant(all P<0.05).Medical staff's job practice was excellent 25.68%and good 53.38%,and medium 20.95%,and medical staff's satisfaction with the training course was 100.00%.The health management rate and stan-dardized management rate of patients with severe mental disorders in the community of Panyu District are both on the rise year by year.In 2023,Panyu District was the first in the city to build 16 community psychiatric(psychological)outpatient clinics and opened all of them,and Panyu District ranked first in the city in the 2023 supervisory inspec-tion of community mental health management in Guangzhou.Conclusion The training method and training content of the community mental health manager training course are practical and effective.
