Analysis of Risk Factors Related to Hospital Infection in Digestive Endos-copy and Analysis of Management Countermeasures
Objective To analyze the risk factors related to hospital infection in digestive endoscopy and management countermeasures. Methods 155 digestive endoscopy samples from Xuzhou Jiawang District People's Hospital from February 2022 to January 2024 were selected and divided into non-infection group(119)and infection group(36)ac-cording to the presence or absence of infection.Sample cleaning time, number of examination visits, improper opera-tion,dry storage, and correct use of multi-enzyme wash were compared between the non-infection group and the infec-tion group, and logistic regression was applied to analyze the influencing factors of infection. Results The sample cleaning time of the non-infection group was significantly longer than that of the infection group, the number of exami-nation visits was significantly lower than that of the infection group, and mishandling, dry preservation, and the correct use of multi-enzyme wash were better than that of the infection group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Multifactorial logistic regression analysis showed that the insufficient cleaning time, improper handling, and excessive number of examination visits were independent risk factors for the occurrence of hospital-acquired in-fections(OR=1.094,2.619,1.399,all P<0.05),while correct drying and storage, and proper use of multienzymatic washes were protective factors for the occurrence of hospital-acquired infections(OR=0.892,0.914,both P<0.05).Conclusion Cleaning time, the number of examination visits, improper operation, dry preservation, and the correct use of multi-enzyme wash solution are important factors affecting the occurrence of infection, and it is necessary to ac-tively strengthen the management of endoscopic disinfection in hospital infections of digestive endoscopy, and strictly follow the aseptic operation norms to minimize the incidence of infection.
