In view of the problems faced in the management of medical high-value consumables,such as non-standard procurement management,imprecise inventory management,non-optimization of the use process,imperfect traceability and safety monitoring,this paper introduced advanced information technology into the management of medical high-value consumables.Firstly,the present management status of medical high value consumables was de-scribed.Secondly,the refined management of medical high value consumables based on information technology was deeply analyzed and discussed,which involved improving the efficiency of inventory management,strengthening the procurement management,optimizing the use process,and improving the traceability and safety monitoring.Finally,taking the medical high value consumables management information system as an example,the practical application of advanced information technology in the management of medical high value consumables was introduced.In order to provide useful reference for medical institutions,so as to improve the management level of medical high value consum-ables.
