Application of PBL Teaching Method in Hematology Teaching Practice
Objective To analyze the application effects of problem-based teaching method(PBL)teaching method in hematology teaching practice. Methods A total of eighty interns in the Department of Hematology of the First Affili-ated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from October 2022 to October 2023 were selected as the study objects, and were divided into control group and observation group according to randomly number table method, with forty in each group. The control group adopted the traditional teaching method, and the observation group adopted PBL teach-ing method. The written test scores and satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The comprehen-sive evaluation scores(case analysis ability, clinical ability, independent thinking ability)and interview scores(practi-cal ability, clinical response ability, thinking ability)of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The satisfaction of students in observation group including stimulating interest in learning(90.00%),improving self-study ability(92.50%),deepening knowledge un-derstanding(92.50%),improving clinical skills(95.00%),cultivating clinical thinking(95.00%),and enhancing lan-guage expression(92.50%)were higher than those in control group, and the difference was statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion In the course of clinical practice in hematology department, the teaching method combining PBL method is more effective than the traditional teaching method, and can obviously improve the overall performance and satisfaction of students.
