Application of Problem-based Learning Combined with Case-based Teaching Method in Teaching Cardiology
Objective To study the effect of the application of problem-based learning combined with case-based teaching method in the teaching of cardiology.Methods Fifty-seven interns who practiced in the First Affiliated Hos-pital of Xi'an Jiaotong University from August 2021 to August 2022 were selected as the study subjects.They were di-vided into the control group and the study group according to the random number table method.In the control group,29 interns were taught by conventional teaching,and in the study group,28 interns were taught by problem-based learning combined with case-based teaching method.Compare the internship performance and teaching satisfaction of the two groups.Results After teaching,the theoretical knowledge and practical operation scores of the study group were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).And the satisfaction of teaching in the study group(96.43%)was higher than that of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(χ2=4.994,P<0.05).Conclusion Problem-based learning combined with case-based teaching method for cardiology interns teaching effect is significant,can effectively improve the interns'learning achievement and teaching satisfaction.
