Evaluation of the Improvement of Teaching Quality of Laboratory Interns by Defective Case Introduction Teaching Method
Objective To explore the role of defective case introduction teaching method in improving the quality of teaching of laboratory interns. Methods 30 interns in the Department of Laboratory Medicine of Yingshan People's Hospital from October to December 2022 were selected as the control group, and 30 interns from October to Decem-ber 2023 were selected as the study group. The control group applied traditional teaching method and the study group applied defective case introduction teaching method.Compare the two groups'learning attitude scores,assess-ment scores, and comprehensive ability scores. Results The study group's learning interest, learning enthusiasm, and learning initiative scores were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically sig-nificant(all P<0.05).Theoretical knowledge and clinical operation skills assessment scores of the study group were 86.21±6.54 and 84.39±6.72,higher than 78.14±5.31 and 75.98±6.03 of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(t=5.247,5.102,both P<0.05).The scores of the research group's ability to find problems,problem-solving ability, and teamwork ability were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion In laboratory internship, the application of defective case introduc-tion teaching method can effectively improve the learning attitude of intern doctors, make them skillful in theoretical knowledge and operation skills, and cultivate their comprehensive ability.
