Evaluation of Operation Efficiency of Clinical Departments in a General Hospital of F--Based on Super-efficiency DEA-Malmquist Model
Objective To analyze the input-output data of some clinical departments in a general hospital F,and dis-cuss how to rationally allocate resources and improve the operation efficiency of each department under the back-ground of strengthening the fine management of the hospital. Methods The superefficiency model of data envelopment analysis and Malmquist index were used to analyze the input-output data of thirty clinical departments in an F general Grade III hospital in Fujian Province from January 2019 to December 2022.Results The number of DEA effective in the 30 clinical departments from 2019 to 2022 was 11,11,14 and 14,respectively.The Malmquist index averaged 1.095,and total factor productivity grew at an average annual rate of 9.5%.Conclusion The overall operating effi-ciency of the sample hospitals is gradually improving.Combined with the results of the super-efficiency DEA and Malmquist index,it can be targeted to promote the fine management of the hospitals, strengthen the rationality of re-source allocation, and improve the per capita efficiency of the departments.
