Analyzing the Application of Pareto Principle in Medical Equipment Man-agement and Its Impact on Equipment Failure Incidence and Downtime

摘要
目的 分析医疗设备管理中巴莱特定律的影响.方法 选取烟台市烟台山医院20名工作人员,在2022年3-8月实行传统管理,在2022年9月—2023年2月实行巴莱特定律管理,分别为传统组、定律组,评估工作人员管理质量和满意率,统计各组200件设备的故障率和维修指标.结果 定律组工作人员管理质量高于传统组,差异有统计学意义(P均<0.05).定律组设备故障率为11.00%,低于传统组的20.50%,差异有统计学意义(χ2=6.801,P<0.05).定律组设备宕机、维修时间短于传统组,差异有统计学意义(P均<0.05).定律组工作人员满意率高于传统组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05).结论 巴莱特定律可减少设备故障事件,缩短各医疗设备的宕机和维修时间,能提升医疗设备管理质量和工作人员满意率.
Abstract
Objective To analyze the impact of Pareto principle in medical equipment management.Methods Twenty staff members of Yantai Mountain Hospital were selected to implement traditional management from March to August 2022 and Pareto principle management from September 2022 to February 2023,respectively,for the traditional group and the principle group.The quality of staff management and satisfaction were assessed,and the failure rate and main-tenance indicators of 200 pieces of equipment in each group were counted.Results The quality of staff management in principle group were higher than those of the traditional group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The equipment failure rate of 11.00%in principle group was lower than 20.50%in the traditional group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=6.801,P<0.05).The downtime and repair time of equipment in principle group were shorter than those of the traditional group,and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The staff satisfaction rate in principle group was higher than that in the traditional group,and the difference was statis-tically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Pareto principle can reduce equipment failure events,shorten the downtime and repair time of each medical equipment,and can improve the quality of medical equipment management and staff satisfaction rate.
