Objective To analyze the application value of SWOT management mode in the quality improvement of hos-pital nursing management.Methods Hanchuan People's Hospital implemented the conventional management model from January to July 2023 and implemented the SWOT management model from August 2023 to February 2024,and a total of 622 nursing staff in nursing positions in clinical inpatient wards were included.The quality of nursing manage-ment,occurrence of adverse events,and satisfaction ratings of nursing staff with different management models were analyzed under the two management models.Results Nursing staff's quality of care management scores in SWOT man-agement mode were higher than in conventional management mode,and the difference was statistically significant(all P<0.05).Fewer adverse events occurred in SWOT management mode than in conventional management mode.Nursing staff's satisfaction was 98.07%in SWOT management mode,which was higher than that of 94.86%in conventional management mode,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=9.424,P<0.05).Conclusion The implementa-tion of SWOT management mode in hospital nursing management can improve the quality of nursing management,and effectively reduce adverse events and improve nursing staff's satisfaction.
