Influence of Performance Management Combined with Prescription Spe-cial Pre-audit Mechanism on Rational Use of Antibacterial Drugs in Hospi-tals
Objective To study the influence of performance management combined with prescription special pre-audit mechanism on the rational use of antibacterial drugs in hospitals.Methods A total of forty staff members of the First Hospital of Lanzhou University were selected as study subjects from June 2021 to July 2023.From June 2021 to June 2022 was the control group,which did not implement performance management combined with prescription spe-cial pre-audit mechanism,and from July 2022 to July 2023 was the observation group,which implemented perfor-mance management combined with prescription special pre-audit mechanism,with no changes in both time periods.Compared the two groups in terms of prescription failures and staff satisfaction with management methods.Results The prescription failure rate of the observation group(6.00%)was lower than that of the control group(27.00%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=16.004,P<0.05).Satisfaction in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Performance manage-ment combined with prescription special pre-audit mechanism applied to hospital antimicrobial prescription manage-ment can reduce unqualified prescriptions and improve staff satisfaction with management methods.
