Objective To analyze the influence of the group management mode on the nursing ability and nursing quality of nursing staff.Methods Twelve nursing staff from the Department of Orthopedics of Hengyang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the study subjects.They were grouped ac-cording to the time when the nursing management model was implemented,from June to December 2022,routine man-agement was carried out,which was the routine group;from January to June 2023,group management was carried out,which was the research group.The study subjects in both groups were the same nursing staff.The two groups were compared in terms of quality of care scores,nursing competence scores,and nursing staff's satisfaction.Results The quality of care scores,nursing competence scores,and satisfaction scores of the study group were higher than those of the conventional group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The group manage-ment of orthopedic nurses can effectively enhance the professional ability of nursing staff,improve the quality of nurs-ing,and improve the satisfaction of nursing staff to the work.
