Analysis of the Application Effect of Total Quality Management in West-ern Pharmacy Management
Objective To explore the application effect of comprehensive quality management in the management of western pharmacy.Methods Total Quality Management was carried out in the management of the western pharmacy of Sanggong Central Hospital from January 2021.From January to December 2020 was before the implementation of the study(routine drug management was adopted),and from January to December 2021 was after the implementation of the study(total quality management was adopted).30 staff members were selected as the subjects of the study,and the two groups are the same group of staff.Compared the quality score of western pharmacy staff management,medication error rate and staff satisfaction before and after the implementation.Results After the implementation of total quality management,the quality of management scores of the staff of the western pharmacy was higher than before the imple-mentation,and the error rate of medicines in the western pharmacy was lower than before the implementation,and the difference was statistically significant(all P<0.05).Staff satisfaction was 96.67%(29/30)after the implementation of total quality management,which was higher than 73.33%(22/30)before the implementation,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=6.405,P<0.05).Conclusion Implementing comprehensive quality management in hospital pharmacy management can effectively improve the quality of pharmacy management,reduce drug error rates,and im-prove staff satisfaction.
