Research on the Impact of Strengthening Nursing Management on Work Stress and Job Burnout of Pediatric Nurses
Objective To analyze the value of intensive nursing management for pediatric nurses.Methods A total of 32 nurses in the pediatrics department of Dingtao District People's Hospital of Heze City from April 2022 to April 2023 were selected as the study objects and divided into reference group and management group by different manage-ment methods,with 16 nurses in each group.The reference group implemented the general management scheme,and the management group implemented the intensive nursing management scheme.The work stress,job burnout and cop-ing styles of the two groups were compared.Results The work stress score of the management group was lower than that of the reference group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).In the management group,the score of emotional burnout was 49.08±3.15,the score of low personal achievement was 44.90±2.43,and the score of work indifference was 25.06±1.12,those were higher than 42.97±3.65,40.01±2.83 and 21.45±1.38 in the reference group,and the differences were statistically significant(t=5.069,5.244,8.125,all P<0.05).The coping score of the management group were better than those of the reference group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Intensive nursing management has multiple advantages,which can reduce the stress of pediatric nurses,improve their job burnout,and make them complete pediatric nursing with a positive attitude.
