Effect Evaluation of PBL Teaching Method in Spinal Surgery Teaching Rounds
Objective To evaluate problem-based learning,The application effect of PBL in spinal surgery teaching ward round.Methods During the period from January to December 2022,the Spinal Surgery Department of the Fourth Hospital of Changsha implemented the conventional teaching method.25 interns were selected for analysis,which was the reference group.During the period from January to December 2023,PBL teaching method was implemented in spine surgery department of our hospital.25 interns were selected for analysis,which was the observation group.The teaching effects of the two groups were compared and analyzed.Results After teaching,the test results of the observa-tion group were higher than those of the reference group,the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).The self-learning ability,clinical thinking ability,problem-solving ability and clinical ward round ability of the obser-vation group were higher than those of the reference group,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The teaching satisfaction rate of the observation group was 100.00%(25/25)higher than 84.00%(21/25)of the refer-ence group,the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.347,P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of PBL teaching method can improve the examination results of spinal surgery students,at the same time,it can also enhance the students'autonomous learning ability,exercise their problem-solving ability and clinical rounds,and improve the teaching satisfaction rate.
