Improvement and Practical Exploration of the Teaching Mode for Hospital Pharmacy Internship
Objective To explore the improvement and practical effects of hospital pharmacy internship teaching mode.Methods 24 pharmaceutical interns from the Pharmacy Department of Yongzhou Central Hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected.They were randomly divided into a conventional group and an improved group using a random number table method with 12 students each.The conventional group adopted the conventional teach-ing mode,while the improved group adopted the improved teaching mode.The exam scores,job competence,teaching satisfaction,and teaching effectiveness of the two groups of pharmaceutical interns were compared.Results The theo-retical knowledge,practical skills,and daily performance assessment scores of the improvement group were higher than those of the conventional group,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05);The knowledge mastery,practical skills,communication and coordination,and professional competence scores of the improvement group were higher than those of the conventional group,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05);The overall satis-faction rate of teaching in the improvement group was 100.00%(12/12)higher than 83.33%(10/12)in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);The scores of the improvement group in mobilizing learning enthusiasm,enhancing clinical thinking,improving problem-solving ability,and enhancing team collaboration were higher than those of the conventional group,the differences were statistically significant(P=0.044).Conclusion The practical effect of improving the teaching mode in hospital pharmacy internship teaching is good,which can improve the assessment scores,job competence,and teaching satisfaction of pharmacy interns.It can also improve teaching ef-fectiveness.
