The Role of Scenario Simulation Teaching Method in Improving the Com-prehensive Ability of Pediatric Interns
Objective To study the effect of the application of situational simulation teaching method in the teaching of pediatric interns on improving their comprehensive ability. Methods A total of 35 physicians practicing in the De-partment of Pediatrics of Xishui Hospital Affiliated to Hubei Institute of Technology from January to July 2023 were selected as the control group, and 35 physicians practicing in this hospital from August 2023 to February 2024 were selected as the observation group. The control group was taught with the traditional teaching method, and the observa-tion group was taught with the situational simulation method on the basis of the control group. The comprehensive abil-ity and teaching satisfaction of the two groups were compared. Results After teaching, the scores of basic knowledge, pediatric professional knowledge,doctor-patient communication, physical examination, medical history collection, medical record writing, diagnosis and treatment plan, and inpatient management of the two groups were higher than be-fore teaching, and the observation group was higher than the control group, the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The total satisfaction rate of teaching methods in the observation group 100.00%(35/35)was higher than that in the control group 88.57%(31/35),the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.242,P<0.05).Conclusion The application of situational simulation teaching method in the teaching of pediatric interns has a good effect on im-proving their comprehensive ability and teaching satisfaction.
