Application of Flipped Classroom Combined with Virtual Reality Technol-ogy in Transesophageal Ultrasound Teaching of Residents
Objective To explore the application effect of flipped classroom combined with Virtual Reality(VR)tech-nology in transesophageal ultrasound teaching for residents. Methods Thirty resident doctors who practiced in the Af-filiated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical University from January 2023 to January 2024 were selected as the research ob-jects.They were divided into research group and control group according to random number table method, with 15 cases in each group. The control group received traditional transesophageal ultrasound teaching mode, while the re-search group received flipped classroom combined with VR teaching mode. The theoretical knowledge, clinical prac-tice and teaching satisfaction of the two groups were compared. Results After teaching, the theoretical knowledge scores of residents in two groups were higher than before teaching, and the study group was higher than the control group, the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The time of section operation was shorter than that of control group[(13.25±1.24)min vs(5.34±1.47)min],the image interpretation score and the total quantization score of the study group were 95.16±2.06 and 96.13±1.34,were higher than 93.01±2.87 and 94.41±2.05 of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(t=2.357,2.820,4.209,all P<0.05).The score of teaching satisfaction in the study group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The application of the flipped classroom combined with VR teaching mode in the transesophageal ultrasound teaching of residents can effectively improve their theoretical knowledge and practical operation ability, and improve their teaching satisfaction rate.
