Application of MOOC Combined with LBL-CBL-PBL-RBL in Clinical Education of Endocrinology
Objective To investigate the application effect of massive open online course(MOOC)combined with lecture-based learning,case-based learning,problem-based learning and research-based learning(LBL-CBL-PBL-RBL)four-track collaborative teaching model in clinical education of endocrinology.Methods A total of 63 clinical medical interns from the Henan Provincial People's Hospital from June 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the re-search objects.Taking the natural class as the unit,class 1 was divided into the research group(32 students)and class 2 into the control group(31 students)according to the order of practice.The study group adopted the four-track col-laborative teaching mode of MOOC combined with LBL-CPL-PBL-RBL,while the control group adopted the tradi-tional method.The teaching evaluation adopts questionnaire survey,theory examination and practical skill examina-tion.Results The scores of theoretical test and practical skill in the study group were 91.56±1.97 and 91.63±2.14,which were higher than 85.84±2.89 and 83.16±2.52 of the control group,and the differences were statistically signifi-cant(t=9.22,14.40,both P<0.05).The self-assessment scores of interns in the study group were higher than those in the observation group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusions In the clinical edu-cation of endocrinology,the MOOC combined with LBL-CBL-PBL-RBL four-track collaborative teaching model is helpful to stimulate interns'learning autonomy,improve knowledge mastery and examination scores,enhance commu-nication skills,clinical logical thinking and clinical practice ability.
