Research on the Application of Incentive Theory in the Management of New Pediatric Nurses
Objective To explore the application effect of incentive theory in the management of pediatric new nurses.Methods 30 new pediatric nurses in Wuxi Children's Hospital from January to December 2023 were selected as the study objects.they were divided into two groups according to different management modes,with 15 nurses in each group.The study group was managed by incentive theory,while the control group was managed by routine pediatric new nurses.The changes of post competence,job burnout and emotional labor of new pediatric nurses between two groups were observed.Results The post competency score and career quality of life score of new pediatric nurses in study group were higher than those in control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The scores of emotional exhaustion and depersonalization in study group were 23.20±2.14 and 11.20±1.18 respectively,which were lower than 26.00±2.36 and 14.93±1.03 in control group,and the scores of personal achievement in study group was 41.20±3.42,higher than 37.60±3.40 in control group,and the differences were statistically significant(t=-3.404,-9.233,2.891,all P<0.05).Conclusion Applying motivation theory to the management of new pediatric nurses can effectively improve their job competence,alleviate their occupational burnout,and improve their quality of life.
