Analysis of the Quality Control Effect on the First Page of Inpatient Medi-cal Records in the Performance Appraisal Process of Public Hospitals
Objective To study and analyze the influence of public hospital performance assessment on the quality control effect on the first page of inpatient medical records.Methods A total of 27 medical record managers in Qing-dao Youfu Hospital were selected as the research objects.From January 2020 to December 2022,routine inpatient medical record management was implemented,and 300 inpatient medical records in this period were selected as the reference group.The quality control management of the front page of inpatient medical records was implemented from January to December 2023,and 400 inpatient medical records in this period were selected as the observation group.The error rate of the first page of the medical record,the total defect rate of the first page of the medical record and the management satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results The error rate of the first page of the medical record in the observation group was lower than that in the reference group,and the difference was statistically significant(all P<0.05).The incidence of total defects on the front page of inpatient medical records in the observation group 9.50%(38/400)was lower than that in the reference group 32.33%(97/300),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=57.416,P<0.05).The management satisfaction of medical record managers in the observation group was higher than that in the reference group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The quality control of the front page of inpatient medical records in the process of hospital performance appraisal is helpful to improve the quality of the front page of inpatient medical records.
