Objective To analyze the significance of safety management in improving the service quality of obstetrics and gynecology nursing staff and reducing error events.Methods From July 2021 to August 2022,40 nursing staff in the Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics of Dongping County First People's Hospital were selected and divided into a control group and an observation group using random number table method,with 20 people per group.The con-trol group received general management,while the observation group received safety management.The service quality scores,occurrence of error events,and nursing satisfaction of the two groups of nursing staff were compared.Results The scores of nursing service quality in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the dif-ference was statistically significant(all P<0.05).The total satisfaction rate of nursing in the observation group was 95.00%(19/20),higher than 70.00%(14/20)in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.161,P<0.05).The nursing error events in the observation group were less than those in the control group.Conclu-sion Strengthening safety management implementation can improve the service quality of nursing staff,reduce nursing error events,and achieve high nursing satisfaction.
