Objective To explore the implementation effect of PDCA cycle management model in internal medicine quality management,and compare the conventional management model,in order to propose effective improvement strategies.Methods 60 nursing staff working in the Linyi People's Hospital in Shandong Province from February 2022 to January 2023 were selected as the routine group,which implemented routine management.The same nursing staff from February 2023 to January 2024 was taken as the exploratory group,and the PDCA cycle management model was introduced on the basis of routine management.The two groups were compared in terms of quality of work,quality of nursing instrument writing and management satisfaction.Results The scores of work quality and nursing instrument writing quality in the exploratory group were higher than those in the conventional group,the differences were statisti-cally significant(all P<0.05).The management satisfaction of the exploratory group 96.67%(58/60)was also signifi-cantly higher than that of the conventional group 86.67%(52/60),the difference was statistically significant(χ2=3.927,P<0.05).Conclusion The application of PDCA cycle management model in the quality management of internal medi-cine can significantly improve the quality of work and the quality of writing nursing documents,and at the same time enhance the management satisfaction of nursing staff.
