Objective To explore the impact of risk assessment combined with PDCA cycle method on the effective-ness of hospital infection management.Methods From January 2022 to December 2023,30 medical staff from Yuech-eng Hospital in Guiyang who participated in Obstetrics And Gynecology Surgery were selected as the research sub-jects.Routine management(control group)and risk assessment combined with PDCA cycle management(study group)were implemented fron January 2022 to December 2022 and January 2023 to December 2023,respectively.The hospi-tal infection management ability scores and occupational satisfaction score of medical staff in two stages were com-pared.Results Compared with the control group,the scores of medical staff in hospital infection management in the study group stage were significantly higher,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The occupational satisfaction score of medical staff in the study group was 90.02±5.63,higher than 83.19±5.24 in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(t=4.864,P<0.05).Conclusion During obstetric and gynecological surgery,the application of risk assessment combined with PDCA cycle management can enhance the hospital infection manage-ment ability of medical staff related to obstetric and gynecological surgery,improve occupational satisfaction of medi-cal staff in hospital infection prevention and control work.
