Objective To analyze the application effect of modern information technology in medical record manage-ment.Methods 200 medical records and 7 medical record managers from Hengyang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected from January 2022 to December 2023.They were divided into observation group(January to December 2023,implement modern information technology management)and control group(January to December 2022,implement the routine medical record management mode).The application effect of two group were compared.Results The management quality in observation group were higher than those in control group,the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The satisfaction of medical record management in observation group(100.%)was higher than that in control group(85.71%),the difference was not statistically significant(χ2=1.077,P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of unreasonable events between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The application of modern information technology in medical record management can improve the quality of hospital management,facilitate the work of medical record managers,help improve their management satisfaction.
