Application of PBL Combined with Simulated Patient Teaching in Obstet-rics and Gynecology Clinical Practice Teaching
Objective To analyze the application effect of problem-based learning(PBL)combined with simulated pa-tient teaching method in the clinical practice teaching process of obstetrics and gynecology.Methods Ninety interns from the Obstetrics Department of Xishui County Maternal and Child Health Hospital were selected as the study sub-jects from January 2021 to December 2023,and were divided into two groups of 45 cases each according to the ran-dom number table method,with the control group adopting the traditional teaching method,and the research group adopting the PBL combined with simulated patient teaching method.Compared the discharge results,clinical ability,and evaluation of teaching methods of the two groups.Results The theoretical knowledge,case analysis,and practical skills of the interns in the study group were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statisti-cally significant(all P<0.05).The scores of clinical competence and teaching method of the interns in the study group were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion IThe application of PBL combined with simulated patient teaching methods is effective and can effectively help in-terns improve their discharge performance and clinical competence.
