Objective To explore the effect of flexible scheduling of responsibility system in the management of pedi-atric nurses.Methods A total of 31 nurses working in the Department of Pediatrics of Wuxi Children's Hospital from January to December 2023 were selected as the research objects.From January to June 2023,routine scheduling man-agement was implemented for 31 pediatric nurses,and from July to December 2023,responsibility system flexible scheduling management was implemented for 31 pediatric nurses.Before and after the responsibility system for elastic scheduling,pediatric nurses job stress,job burnout feeling,post competence and monthly work satisfaction were com-pared.Results Since the implementation of responsibility system for flexible scheduling,the work pressure scores,emotional exhaustion and to personal scores were lower than before the implementation,personal accomplishment,post competence,scheduling satisfaction score were higher than before the implementation,the differences were statis-tically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Responsibility system flexible scheduling can reduce the work pressure and job burnout of pediatric nurses,and improve their job competency and scheduling satisfaction.
