Application of FOCUS-PDCA Continuous Quality Improvement in Nurs-ing Quality and Adverse Event Management in Neurology Department
Objective To explore the application effect of FOCUS-PDCA continuous quality improvement in nursing quality and adverse event management in Neurology department.Methods A total of 30 nurses from 2 wards of the Neurology of Shandong Guoxin Yiyang Group Zaozhuang Central Hospital from January to December 2023 were se-lected as the study objects.The routine management mode was implemented from January to June 2023 as the control group,and the FOCUS-PDCA working procedure management was implemented from July to December 2023 as the observation group.Two kinds of management pattern of perpetrators are with a group of nursing staff.The clinical nurs-ing quality and the incidence of adverse events were compared between the two groups after intervention.Results The nursing quality score observation group were higher than control group,and the difference were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The nursing management of adverse events in the observation group were less than the control group.Conclusion FOCUS-PDCA continuous quality improvement model can improve the nursing quality of neurology nurses and reduce the occurrence of nursing adverse events.
