Analysis of the Effect of Mind Mapping in Pharmaceutical Practice Teach-ing
Objective To analyze the application effect of mind mapping in pharmacy practice teaching. Methods A total of 42 internship students admitted to Pharmacy Department of Hengyang Central Hospital from July 2021 to June 2023 were selected as the research objects.According to different teaching methods, they were divided into control group and observation group, with 21 students in each group. The control group implemented conventional teaching method, while the observation group implemented mind mapping teaching method. The assessment results of the two groups were compared(theoretical cognition of pharmacy, practical operation of pharmacy)and professional ability(communication ability, identification ability, teamwork ability, autonomous learning ability). Results Before teaching, there were no significant differences in assessment results and professional ability between the two groups(all P>0.05).After teaching, the theoretical cognitive scores and practical operation scores of the observation group were(94.57±4.23)points and(94.62±4.31)points,which were higher than those of the control group[(90.15±4.78)points and(90.24±4.86)points],and the differences were statistically significant(both P<0.05).After teaching, the profes-sional ability of the observation group was stronger than that of the control group, the differences were statistically sig-nificant(all P<0.05).Conclusion Both the conventional teaching method and the mind map teaching method can have teaching effects in the teaching of pharmaceutical interns, but the latter is more ideal, which can expand students'pharmaceutical cognition and enhance their professional ability.
