The Application of Teach-Show-Do-Feedback Teaching Mode under Outcome-Based-Education Concept in Surgical Teaching
Objective To explore the application method and teaching effect of"teacher-show-do-feedback"(TSDF)teaching mode in surgery teaching under the guidance of Outcome Based Education(OBE).Methods Eighty clinical medicine interns of grade 2020 who practiced in the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University were selected as the research objects and divided into study group(TDSF+OBE teaching mode)and control group(traditional teaching mode)according to different teaching methods, with 40 students in each group. The basic theoretical knowledge,clini-cal professional skills, clinical thinking ability and learning satisfaction of the two groups were compared. Results There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).The clinical skill level, thinking ability and total scores of the students in the study group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statisti-cally significant(all P<0.05).The teaching satisfaction of the study group was 85.00%(34/40),which was higher than 70.00%(28/40)of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The TSDF teaching mode under the OBE concept has a significant promoting effect on improving the teaching quality of clinical medical interns, which is conducive to enhancing the enthusiasm of practical medical learning.
