The Application of TBL,CBL and PBL Combining Teaching Method in the Teaching of Histology and Embryology
Objective To investigate the pedagogical effectiveness of team-based learning(TBL)combined with case-based learning(CBL)and problem-based learning(PBL)in the teaching and learning process of tissue embryology.Methods 118 medical imaging program students of 2021 grade of Anhui Medical University from February to June 2022 were selected as the control group,and 119 medical imaging program students of 2022 grade of Anhui Medical University from February to June 2023 were selected as the study group.The control group was given the traditional teaching method and the research group was given the TBL-CBL-PBL fusion teaching method.Student achievement,teaching satisfaction,and comprehensive ability scores were compared between the two groups.Results The theory score of the students in the study group was 89.96±0.76,which was higher than 84.04±1.07 of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(t=49.136,P<0.001).Teaching satisfaction of the research group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Students'overall ability scores in the research group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion TBL-CBL-PBL combining teaching method can improve students'academic performance and learning enthusiasm,and its teaching effect is better than the traditional teaching method.
