Analysis of the Effect of Continuous Quality Improvement on Improving the Quality of Medical Service Management in Maternal and Child Health Hospital
Objective To analyze and explore how continuous quality improvement measures can effectively promote the improvement of the quality of medical service management in the Maternal and Child Healthcare Hospital and its actual effects.Methods 86 medical personnel in Weihai Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 2021 to February 2023 were selected as the research objects.From January 2021 to January 2022,it was before continuous quality improvement(the routine medical service management were adopted),and from February 2022 to February 2023,it was after continuous quality improvement.The quality of medical services,the occurrence of adverse events and the satisfaction of medical personnel with the management model were compared before and after continuous qual-ity improvement.Results After the implementation of continuous quality improvement measures,the quality assess-ment score of medical personnel's medical service work was 91.23±7.15,which was better than 83.96±8.37 before the implementation,and the difference was statistically significant(t=6.124,P<0.05).The medical staff's satisfaction with the management mode was higher than that before the implementation,and the difference was statistically signifi-cant(P<0.05).Before the implementation of continuous quality improvement,there were 17 cases of adverse events,including 3 cases of medical errors,5 cases of nursing adverse events,6 cases of infection events and 3 cases of medi-cal equipment failure.After the implementation of continuous quality improvement,there were 6 cases of adverse events,including 1 case of medical error,2 cases of nursing adverse events,2 cases of infection events and 1 case of medical equipment failure.Conclusion The implementation of continuous quality improvement measures in maternal and child health hospitals can effectively improve the quality of medical services for medical personnel,reduce the risk of adverse events,further improve the satisfaction of medical personnel with the management model,and ensure the improvement of the quality of medical service management.
