Quality Management and Control Measures and Effect Analysis of Micro-biology Laboratory
Objective To explore the quality management and control measures and effects of microbiology laboratory. Methods A total of 11 inspectors in the microbiology laboratory of Xingyi Center for Disease Control and Prevention were selected as the research objects. The working stage of routine quality management from April 2020 to October 2021 was taken as the control group, and the working stage of total quality control management from November 2021 to April 2023 was taken as the observation group.200 microbial specimens were collected in the two working stages respectively. The occurrence of sample quality problems and the comprehensive quality of inspectors were compared between the two groups. Results The incident rates of non-standard sampling, untimely inspection and bar code errors in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The scores of each dimension of the comprehensive quality of the inspectors in the observation group(in-spection technology, equipment maintenance, result determination, sample preservation, emergency response)were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Conclusion The quality of microbiological laboratory tests is affected by many factors.A series of solutions should be actively taken in the management process to help improve the quality of inspectors and test quality.
